piloted v. flat-faced

Do these two joints have consistently different hits or does it depend more on the joint material, cue construction, etc.?

you might want to post this in the cue makers section...you will likely find some good response there.

buy one of each and try them for yourself :-)

Not all piloted joints are created equal, not all flat faced joints are created equal either.

Each of the top cuemakers will have an argument on either side whey they use flat-faced or piloted joints primarily.

It is all subjective...so start buying and trying.
