Knowing just slightly more than nothing about cue building, I thought about what would be a cue design beautiful to me. I have no idea if it would be possible or playable after being built so I figured I would get some input on here before approaching cue makers. Here is an extremely rough picture not to scale.

It is amboyna burl, with 4 malachite point inlays outlined with turquoise. There rings are ebony with turquoise inlays. I might go with circles instead of bars. Wrap is Blue/Black irish linen. Finished with an ebony butt cap. What has me doubtful is the size of the malachite point inlays as I have not seen inlays like this near the size of normal points. Any helpful thoughts or ideas would be welcome but as for criticism please remember that I know almost nothing about cue building. I hope the picture didn't make you grimace.
