Steel City Billiards in Pittsburgh is starting a monthly 9-ball tournament. Held the second Saturday of each month. The next tourney is Saturday October 8th. $40 entry fee includes greens fee. $500 added with a full field of 64 Double Elimination Race to 7 winners side race to 5 losers. Pro Express rules. No Pros. Sign up start at 10am. Calcutta at 11:30. Play begins at 12pm Sharp! All matches played on Goldcrowns with 860 Simonis. For more info call 304-914-1477. Open to all players! See you there!

Btw what about the likes of McCollim , and Krull,them 2 might as well be Pros, are they attending ?

bill and rob can both play. they are good players but not banned. its an open event.
 
sounds like a nice tournament. have you had a chance to recover the tables since July's tournament? those pockets were just way too tight.

I can honestly say that I can not complain about the pockets. Yes, they are challenging, but that just challenges each player that much more.

Also, the size of the pockets are not what made me lose out in July, it was me missing them that did.

If I lived closer, I would definately attend all the tournaments that Steel City put on because its such a challenge you never know who is going to win and the tournaments run so smooth.

Keep up the good work Shane and hopefully one day I can make it back.

BUMP for the little guy...and HOW can you expect to have a 64 person calcutta done in 30 minutes? That's over-reaching I think...good luck!
