I ordered a Merry Widow cue a few months ago from Cody, we started off talking of hit and feel and cues that I liked and the hit I wanted. Then shaft taper., weight and butt size (diameter). Standard length is what I was looking for 58".
Cody beginning a player himself and a cue maker helps zero in on what works.
I received the cue this week fit and finish are second to none. Shaft taper is a longer straight taper that feels right with what ever length bridge you would prefer. I had triangle tips installed, that he pressed before installing, I play with a Sugartree Cue. Love that stiff hit.
I would recommend Cody at PK customs if you are looking for a cue at a good value and great playability, finish is up to par with any cues out there.
African Rose wood, black linen wrap. Had him tap the butt for predator extension system.
