Place to play in Miami

I'm going to be in Miami this evening and would love to find a decent place to play some pool. I'd prefer an action type room around the airport but I can drive so I'll go where the action is.

I was going to say Hollywood Billiards, but thats closer to Fort Lauderdale. Hollywood had a very good 9-ball tourney on tuesdays when I lived there a few years back.

Go north on the Florida Turnpike. Exit Hollywood Blvd and go east one block to 441. Turn right and Hollywood billiards is on your right one block up.

Absolutely, this is the place to go tonite. $15 entry and you can expect that there will be 32+ players and at least 10 A to AA level players. Its a handicapped tournament, players are rated from 4 to I think the highest that plays regularly is a 13. The number represents the number of games you need to win every match. 10+ handicap also gives out the call 8 as well as the games to 5s and below.
