Going to be going to Hobbs in the next several days. I used to play in a decent poolhall in Hobbs back in the 60s, just wondering if there is still a decent poolhall there?---Smitty

Unbelieveable, was in Hobbs today,a town of 80,000 and there is not a Poolhall to be found. Hear there were a couple of bars with bar tables in them, but no real poolhalls. Sad.---Smitty
I lived in Hobbs in the 70's and early 80's, and the cap rock lounge was a good gamble spot back then. There was another spot outside of town called arkansas junction. Of course that's only been around 35 years ago. The best player from that area back then was a guy named Shane. Then you had Billy Weird over in Odessa. Brings back alot of memories.
