I see that the IPT has a player stat section on their website. It sure is awesome. I wonder if it will be updated throughout the tournament. this will be great for us fans to be able to compare players to each other. I also wonder why no one has done this before? Just too much work I think.

I would have thought that the WPBA and UPA would have done this a long time ago.

But the whole format for presenting the tournament is done very well. Being a sywtems person, I especially notice that ... lol Being able to have the stats like they have, and to download the scheduled matches is really super.

I do wonder though once the stats start taking shape whether they will maintain the alpha sequence or will sort by the stats to show who is leading as the tournament progresses.

I guess I have to wait tille Monday for Gabe's, Waldens, and Matlock's matches. Boy, the Cory vs. Shannon match should be good.
 
If it is in Excel then they can sort by any column.

Winning average or total money earned or matches won.

Since there will be so many variables I would imagine that they would just keep it in alphabetical order.
