After playing a bit with my son's HXT cue I decided to buy one for my Ned Morris cue, it came in Wed, played a while with it.

I had it done with a 12.5 mm custom diameter from Seyberts, it came in almost perfect, just a tiny roll.

First, the balance of the cue did not change at all. A Predator shaft is usually lighter than a standard one, the HXT shaft was about the same weight as my standard shafts. Hit feel is great, although stiffer than the Ned Morris shafts. Spins the cue ball easily, but it does come with a Kamui Soft tip, so that's to be expected and is probably not really due to the shaft.

For aiming, I was missing a buch of simple shots when using english when aiming the way I would with my standard shafts. Usually when I forgot I was playing with an LD shaft because the hit felt like a standard shaft. To be expected as this is my first LD shaft, and it does show that the HXT shaft does deflect less than regular shafts. When I aimed a bit fuller, got better results but I'm sure will be weeks and months before I don't have to actively tell myself to aim another 1/8 or 1/4 ball over. On many sharp inside english shots like you would shoot if you were going 3 rails out of a corner, I had to move my aim about 1/3 ball when shooting from 5-6 feet away with a lot of spin.

Overall, very happy with the shaft, and the quick delivery of the custom diameter from Seyberts.
