I am sure i will get slammed for asking such a question ..but here goes. I have a players cue and was wondering if i should keep it and upgrade the shaft (ob or pred) or just go with a new cue such as viking or McDermott since i am on a limited budget? I am a solid "B" player right now....Thx

It all comes down to how comfortable you are with your current cue. A new cue won't necessarily mean it will play better than the one you have. A new shaft would be a plus, but so would a new cue IF it's a cue you are comfortable with. Balance and feel are very important.
I agree with Nullus, it is your comfort level, and how confident your are with your current playing with your Player cue. Remember, its not the arrow, but the Indian holding the bow & arrow. If you feel you want to upgrade your playing shaft to something like a Predator, then do so, but if you are shooting well with your current cue/shaft setup...then why fix something thats not broken.

What's your inspiration for "upgrading" the shaft in the first place?
Are you unhappy with your cue in some way?
