It is wierd, I have been playing pool for over 30 years in league play and tournaments. But I have been getting so nervous when I play Billiard Football this year. I think it is because my favorite team I am playing is on the line each week.

We started a new league in Dallas called the National Billiard Football League. You pick your favorite college or pro team and play their season schedule each week. Game on. You are playing against a progressive score each week.

My favorite football team is the Alabama Crimson Tide. In the above video I am playing the coming up game:

Alabama vs Ole Miss

I am in week #4 so Ole Miss will score 17 points this week. Week #1starts at 10 points, week #2 at 13 points, week #3 at 14 points, etc.

So each weeks scheduled team gets tougher. If you lose you move back one weeks points. Ex: If I lost in week #4 then next week I would have to beat 14 points.

Game Rookie Rules:

1) Game consists of 10 Drives (racks)
2) Play starts on 20 yard line. Must go 80 yards (pocket 8 balls to score TD)
3) Only 4 downs to per drive.
4) 1st Down is Pass play
5) 2nd-4th down is Run plays
6) Must pocket/gain 40 yards (4 balls) after 3rd down completed otherwise you must punt (drive is over).
7) If I score TD I can take 7 points or if my team (Alabama) ball is still on the field (table) then I can pocket it for 8-points (2pt conv.). Miss it and you score only 6 points.
