In the last month I won a few cues on Ebay.
Problem is, I really don't know the real value of the cues, the price seems about right or I got a pretty good deal.
I paid $1050 for a 2006 Bob Runde and $551 +$25 shipping for an AE cue.
I also won a Samsara, but I know I got it for $200 less than MSRP.
Not sure yet, but I think I should get rid of a cue, I'm thinking about maybe selling the Bob Runde. I have to think about this, so not for sale yet.
I'll add pics and Ebay descriptions.
AE CUE:
I have an AE Cue with 32 diamonds in a piece of highly figured cocobolo for this auction which the pictures do not show how good this piece of wood looks. The shaft diameter is 12-3/4 mm, the weight is 19.25 ounces and it has a leather wrap. The cue is straight and does not have dents or bumps on it.
Bob Runde:
This is a Bob Runde cue with two shafts made in 2006. There are four razor sharp points, each with 5 veneers (one light, three dark, and one black). You need to look closely at the pictures to identify the three middle (dark) veneers but they are there. Each point has an ebony triangle insert with an ivory split diamond. There are 8 ebony windows in the butt each with an ivory split diamond. The buttcap is made of white delrin. The 5/16-14 joint is steel and the wrap is black leather done so well it is tough to find the seam. One shaft has been test hit (maybe a dozen balls) and the other has never been chalked. The butt weighs 15 oz. and each 13.1 mm shaft weighs 4.1 oz, total weight of the cue with either shaft is 19.1 oz. The butt and both shafts are dead nuts straight, both separate and assembled. The cue is perfect, mint, new with the exception that one shaft was chalked and test hit. A set of delrin joint protectors is included. BTW tan chalk was used so you can't really tell it was even chalked.
Thanks
Rich
