Hello all. Brand new to this forum, so, I do apologize if this is the incorrect area to post this. I am the new owner of a 7ft dynamo coin op table. It has been abused in its previous life and, as a result, i am doing a top to bottom rehab. My question is, can i replace the pockets and liners with the slate on the table (it would be a better option from a painting/sanding and prep point of view) or, should i replace them now, with the slate off, and hope for the best down the road? - Table info - 7ft Early style dynamo table with automatic ball return. Coin-op (disabled/removed) with return tracks in tact. Solid and flat slate with no issues, plays level and straight. All Hdw. in good shape, counterweight cue return system works (but is disabled - using reg. que) Trying to get to a tournament level of playing ability - bought a table that works within our house and budget.
