Hello everybody,

I just have a question. Who makes the temporary pocket tighteners for tables, in other words, what company or companies?

I remember about ten years ago that my father had some and I wonder if there are any reliable ones that you can slip inside the pockets to tighten them.

Anyone know? Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks,

I suspect your talking about the leather ones that wrapped the inside of the pocket and were made by a company in NY. I've scoured the internet and can not find them. I forget the name of the company now, I've given up.
I find the Pocket Pro (Pocket reducers) ones are next to useless in my opinion. However, they're pretty good with the modification described in this thread: Pocket Reducer modification. It also helps to put them in upside down so the spring mechanisms don't interfer with your shots over the pockets.
Good luck.

The name of the company is Bar Co.

I've done the quest, still have never found them. If you do find them, drop me a line, I still want a set.

Until then, you're stuck with the pocket pro.

Travis,

I used to have a set. They were made by a company named Barco and they were leather inserts for your pockets. You couldd order them in two different sizes - to reduce by 1/2" and 3/4", IIRC. When you ordered them you had to tell them what kind of table you had so they could send you a set that fit your table's pockets.

I had to put velcro on them and inside the pockets because they didn't fit at snugly as I wanted them to. They were kind of a pain and if the CB or OB hit them, they bounced off funny.

I ended up getting my table shimmed and gave them away.

You might be able to find them on eBay.
