I saw a post that another AZer made in this section about pointed blank kits. He posted some beautiful photos, and Steve Klein mentioned the workmanship that goes into making such wonderful veneered point - so that brought this question to mind -
How do you make a pointed forearm? What "does" go into such an undertaking? I know that Szamboti was noted for his abilities in this area, as was Spain. Is there a book/video that explains this, if even in an elementary fashion? While people are thinking on this, I know that Skip Weston does 're-cut' points. Who else does this? What is the difference between that and the regular kind of points?
Hope this stirs up some interesting input.
Thanks!
