Poison jump/break tip replacement issue.

I recently decided to replace the tip on a posion break/jump I own.I have replaced several hundred tips so I`m not a beginner.
I took the original tip off, faced off the ferrule(which cut like a very soft plastic)scored the ferrule with a razor blade and sanded and scored the tip(white diamond).I use loctite 454 adhesive. After 30 minutes wait(dinner)and trimming the tip down i broke and the tip flew off.I found the tip and some of the ferrule came off with the tip!I thought it may have had a bad spot in the ferrule so I cut some off the ferrule and tried it again. This time I noticed the ferrule seemed to melt when the glue was on it.
I decided to just cut the ferrule off and replace it.The ferrule seemed to be capped but with no glue relief hole.I started cutting the ferrule down(like i was facing it off because I wanted to see for sure how it was made) and about half a ferrule later I was at the tenon. The end of the tenon looked just like a ob shaft once the fiber pad has been removed.I decided at that point to leave what was there alone.
I had to do the same thing you have to do with the ob shafts and fill in the end of the tenon with epoxy.I have some of the fiber pads from royce so I put one on and a new white diamond tip and have had no more issues. It jumps and breaks alot better now.
Just wanted to share what happened to me incase anyone else has this issue.
