Poison VX 2.1 Play/Break/Jump?

Have you tried this cue? I am talking about the one with 2 shafts - the play, break and jump one.
Someone here is offering me one with the playing shaft - the one with the leather tip. He is also giving me the other shaft(With the phenolic tip) if I want, though he says it's damaged at the bottom(Has a crack). Since I already ordered a jump cue...
Any idea how this cue would do at breaking with the leather tip shaft? And can I still use it for playing and breaking at the same time with that same shaft? I already have a playing cue, but just wondering ^^...
 
As far as I know it's the same shaft, just a different tip. Poison's Sarin leather tip on the "playing shaft," a phenolic tip on the "break/jump shaft." I don't know how hard the Sarin tip is but there is no reason you couldn't break with it. If you don't like, it replace the tip. You might also consider using it as a player and breaking with your Fury.

In any event, if you don't buy it have the seller PM me. There is a slight chance I'd be interested in it if the price is right.
 
One of my teammates just got one of these - it was a good cue as far as I can tell based on 9-10 racks

i liked it every bit as much as the bk2 for breaking. my nephew has one that he shoots with. i thought it was ok, but not really what i like in a cue.
 
I got a near mint one at a pawn shop with the phelonic tip and it breaks good in my bar box 8 ball league. Looks great and wrap is nice.

Hey, thanks for the advice. Yes, you are right, it's the same shaft. I suppose I could use it as a backup player as well as a breaker... Pretty useful :)...
As if I don't buy it, I'll be sure to PM you. The seller is from Macedonia. Where do you live?
