Poison VX Jump Cue

I just wanted to share some feedback on this.

When I first saw the look, I was a lil' bit prejudice about an actual performance. But I have to say, I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised. I bought the jump cue for 70 dollars. So that puts among the less expensive jump cues, knowing the Mezz AirDrive and Predator Air easily cost double of it.
How does it hit? - Myself, I'm a very good dart stroke jumper and I got used to it immediately. It doesn't take much adjusting. I can jump over a ball from within' a ball's distance without any effort with it. Being a dartstroke jumper, I have to admit the Predator air is a tad lighter and performs a lil' bit better (but not by much). I can jump easily over an inch with the Predator Air.
Where most people complain about the Air and say the Mezz is actually the better choice, is when you use the pendelum jump method. I had some top level players in the club test it out. And it jumps pendelum at about the same level as the Mezz, and the cue's lighter than the Mezz, heavier than the Predator. I'd even say it's lighter than a Bunjee.

Point is: it's a good score for the bucks.
Warning about 1 thing: The VX shaft itself has been painted black for about a fifth of the shaft length. It makes it look like you could jump with just the shaft. I tested it, it's very possible. But keep in mind, the shaft length itself is not allowed in most leagues to jump with. So it's actually illegal in most tourney plays to actually use it like that.

Yeah that's absolutely true. Jumping with a shaft is illegal. Nobody will start to measure an inch during a game, but from a shaft to a jump cue, is a lil' more than an inch :grin-square:

I reviewed this awhile back and I also found it a little "sneaky" that they would paint the shaft black to make the appearance it can be broken down and be legal, but like you said I also measured and def not legal when broke down.
