Pool Bench - measurements? pics?

I want to put a long pool bench against one wall. We'd be custom building it to fit the space. I've only ever seen one picture of these, and I don't recall seeing any in person. They are, I think, kind of like a pew up against the wall, but up on a platform somehow.

Does anyone have any pictures of pool benches? If the place you play has one, can you take some pictures and send them to me?

I'd like to know: How tall should it be? How tall should the back be? Should there be an angle to the seat? How deep should the seat be? What do you do with your drinks - just put them on the seat, or is there usually some sort of table - built in?

I'm hoping to include additional storage, under the seat and/or in the platform. Maybe even a display area under the seat?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

At Shooters here in Wichita, in going from the Bar area to the main Pool
room, there is a ramp going down. On 1 side is the stage area (where tournaments are run from) and on the front side is the Challenge table.
But bordering next to the ramp is a bench probably about 16 feet long made out of wood. Straight up and down angles with about a 6" ledge
on top of the backrest portion that people sit drinks, ashtrays, etc.. on.
On the other side of the Challenge table, Paul has 3 Barbershop seats.
Man, they have that Nascar cloth on the Challenge table now, and it is
bright (Red with yellow design).

I know what you are talking about though. Something that works good
for quick and nice is to use countertop for the bench and backrest portion
of the bench with the desired color or design you might want.

I have a good friend that has experience and is good at building Pool accessory tables, counters, lights, etc.. His name is Steve Moore (no, not that one). I am sure he could come up with something.
