Does anybody know of a pool cue bag for cold weather. I walk to places and in the winter where I live it gets pretty cold. It would be great to have a thermal bag that protects my cues from the cold.

Since you didn't list your current case, this is the best idea I have, a better case.

Instroke 2 Butt and 4 Shaft Cowboy Case
Spacious pockets
Padded carrying handle and shoulder strap
Maximum protection and the look of a champion

Yeah something that functions like the sleeping bag idea but for pool case sizing. I have like a 3B/6S action hardcase(something like that).

The guy promoting his instroke cases. How do you know it's good for cold when you are in Florida.

Where I'm from it can get down to -30 C or -22 F :frown:
(For you americans:smile:)

You are very right, I don't know anything about extreme cold.. and don't necessarily want to learn about it. But I do know about extreme heat and extreme humidity which can warp your stick in its case if you accidentally leave it in the car one day. My suggestion was for a leather case, with good materials inside that would serve better protection against the elements. But I'll look around and see if I can find a better idea and get back with you.

Check out Porper cases, except for the covering, basically the entire case is one piece injected styrofoam. Would that provide enough insulation to slow down temperature changes.

I found the perfect solution for your problem. I looked at (I think every type of sleeping bag) and carry case online, but even the child size ones were still too long. So I started thinking about the length, and other things that people in cold climates would want to protect. In my opinion, hunters always have the best gear, so I started searching for rifle cases, and finally found one that is designed for extreme conditions, and is well made.

Bone Collector All Weather Double Scoped Rifle Case With Wheels

I hope this helps.

How about this?

How bout this? You might have to carry a car battery with you though..

I know there are battery powered electric socks out there, but I can't seem to find any knee-highs

You can buy a 12 volt electric blanket for $30.00 on the bay.
Wrap it around your case and plug it in... should do the job.
I'm not sure a sleeping bag would be effective since they work from body heat.

If it is so cold that you are worried about your cue warping, why are you out walking in that kind of weather. I'd be worried about my own safety.---Smitty

We can make you a thermal bag with a heat barrier to keep the interior warmer longer.

Thanks for everybody's suggestions. I will look into it.

Do you know anybody that sells the Porper small travel bag in Canada
