Ok now its time.I am looking for a good teacher slash pro to help me with my game.I play good now but I am lacking a few things that would put me in another level.I know there's pool schools in the us but I cant travel far.I know theres alot of players in Houston which is 2 hours away that may can help me.I have heard that hillbilly and Double J might would help me but I have no way of getting ahold of them.My game is either on top shelf or on bottom.I think its my stance etc thats hurting me.I dont get down on the ball enough.

Randyg that posts on this board had a school in Dallas that is considered by many to be one of the best in the nation. You can check it out at http://www.poolschool.com/

I know it is on my list of "must do's" :)

Took the class with Randy and the time was well spent.
The best part of the deal is that you can take a refresher for the same class that you paid for at any time in the future to keep the skills at a high level.
Looking forward to one of the advanced sessions in the future.
Highly recommend the instruction of RandyG and his staff.

Have a great day!

Lacey,

RandyG's Pool School is a great one to start with. You can always get a semi-local Coach (Instructor) to keep you "tuned up" in the long run. If you are a starting intermediate & just need to "fine tune" your basics, Pool School might be the ticket.

If it is just knowledge of play & a few adjustments that you need, I would suggest finding a Coach (Instructor) to assist you weekly & buy some books. Books & Videos are a great way to gain knowledge too... Byrne's Books, Martin's "99 Critical Shots", Darrell Puld Martineau's Diamons System play & so on...

The BCA webpage has a list of Instructors

Your skill level might be financed by your local chumps who refuse to learn,

Good Luck
