We all have something someone does that just gets to you....unless it's just me....but what bothers me the most is when right after someone chaulks ....they put in down face down.....just makes me wanna smack the back of their head with a newspaper and rub their nose in it.

1. The above
2. Those that use excessive hand powder
3. Those that chalk while I'm shooting
4. Those that interrupt me while I'm shooting for something they could have done WHILE THEY WERE SHOOTING (ie., bathroom breaks, waitress requests)
5. Those that stand by the table while I'm shooting
6. Those that stand by the table while I'm shooting and take the chalk with them should be shot on sight.

Yeah, what you said.... STEP AWAY FROM THE TABLE people. Heck, it gets on my nerves when I see it happening at another table... I don't even have to be shooting....

people on the next table with no pool etiquette.

people who goof off by masse'ing everything.

rooms with bad ac/humidity control.

PEOPLE WHO TWIRL THEIR CUE LIKE A BATON !!!!!!!

My BIG PET PEEVE, is when some one Tries to Touch any thing like My Cue, Case, Moose Head Bridge, Chalk WITHOUT asking First.

My CUES are Totally OFF LIMITS to all but a Few I TRUST, other wise as I said they are OFF LIMITS....

i cant stand it when someone shoots, misses, then they pick up the chalk and either stand their and chalk their tip, or they walk off with it. I usually say "the time to have done that was before you shot, not now"

7. Those that don't pay up.

People who take huge amounts of time even to line up the easiest of shots...
Sore losers...
Those who don't pay attention...
Argue a foul instead of owning up to it...
Won't step up and play/gamble...
Guys obsessed with stance/ look at the table....
Players who have tons of wasted motion/ Phillipino loopy stroke and suck :D

8. People who come to your table during a match and proceed to chat away with your opponent while you're shooting.

people that carry a 4 x 8 case and can't run 3 friggin' balls

when there are 8 open tables and the counter man puts a group of 4 on the table right next to the one you are on

slow players

Okay but in response to your counterman comment, as a former counterman, I have to include every non-regular/ball-banger who asked for the head-table. Like the entire rail wants to watch some idiot test the cushions!

.... 4 chalks on the rail. Breaks my concentration to move all of them before I shoot. I carry my own.

The biggest shark, and therefore the biggest "pool peeve" is when your opponent misses, you've got 8 balls left to win, and he says, "There ya go."

If "there ya go" isn't the most used shark, I'll eat my hat.

I know of a few more, but for the life of me I can't think of them right now, so, there ya go.

Years ago I was playing a pretty heated match in my home room, I left my cue next to my chair and bellied up to the for a drink. I came back the cue was gone...but not far. This young girl grabbed it and took it to her table, I sat and listened to her she said; "this is the nicest stick I ever seen, I wonder if its someones". I politely said "you can play with it but you gotta split your winnings with me"...she ran over and gingerly handed it back. I laughed cause if she knew she had a ivory jointed Szamboti worth god knows now...she might have sh*t herself. That girl still comes in and says hello and asks for my cue....

I cant stand when people tap the chalk on the table telling the cue ball to stop.

Or tell the cueball to speed up or to slow down that really pi$$es me off.

I will add more, poker tourney just about to start.

Chalk Tapper's!

ok...I played this guy, and every time he chalked he tapped the chalk side of the cube on the rail!...so after a few shots the rails of the table were covered in chalk dust!...UUUGGGHHH!

the people that after they miss their shot, want to give a speech to you about how and why they missed, and what they could have done differently.

also i hate i hate i hate i hate anyone who constantly says "good shot".

call me crazy, but don't tell me good shot every time i make a ball..............if i make a spectacular shot.......then yes say good shot........until then shut the hell up.

people also sometimes get offended when i don't say thank you everytime........but i'm not going to respond to every good shot i get if its overbearing.
