Pool has always been a sub culture that the public found interesting. Today it may as well be a secret society. It is non existent to the general public. I would bet if you took a poll the general public would not even know there is such a thing as a professional pool player.

Secret society? Do you live under a rock? Or just disgruntled? I could ask ANY person in the world to play pool or billiards and they would know what I was talking about. The general public couldn’t sharpen a knife 50 yrs ago. They still can’t!
