My table is in the garage. Currently I have 4 can lights in the cieling and I can barely see anything.
Will this good for my 9-ft and give me no shadow? If this is too much they have a lower version which is only 50K LM and 500W...

I used this one for a while:

It was good, but it wasn't what I really wanted. I wanted one with multiple light settings, including a night light mode that looked professional.

I'm happy with the results....
I paid about $550 for this last light. I had to buy 8 track pieces and the corners, even though I only needed six track pieces. It looks like they caught on and are selling them cheaper ($379) as a set:

Wow your setup looks good, but if I spend $600 on light, I'll get the 9-ft Perimeter light. I'm not spending that until I got my real 3000+ sqft man cave later on LOL

I'll probably start with this below, if it's not bright enough I'll go with the extreme first one with hexagon and square frame:

$150

The perimeter light you linked to is the same one Amazon sells for $379. My square light is a perimeter light. In fact, the corners are exactly over the pockets, no shadows on the table.

I looked at the link for the square within a square, that is the same light track system as the octagon one I posted (based on the connectors and close up pictures). Those things are bright but they didn't give me the multiple color options and the dimming capability I have on mine.

I actually like the double square design though. Since I had to purchase two extra 4 foot pieces, I went ahead and bought another set of corners. Maybe I'll do a light within a light.

Oh ok got you. I thought the "perimeter" light looks much more elegant and clean.
I don't care about dimming now, I just want as bright as possible as I'm blind LOL.
Will let you know if this double square light gives me enough light, or if there is any shadow or issue. Thanks sir.

For the non-square lights I bought, I ended up getting some white chain to hang the lights since I did not want them all the way on the ceiling. I thing I bought some small hooks as well. The lights are super light. I just Plum bobbed from the ceiling to the corners and to the side pockets. Then I was able to adjust the chain as needed to square up the design. Since that light system did not have a remote, I plugged it into a smart switch and controlled it by voice with an Amazon puck. If you don't have a smart home or want to keep it simple, plug them into a wirelessly connected plug and wall switch like this one:

108K Lumens is about 5X more than you need. 20K Lumens is the sweet spot for pool. You'll want a light with a Color Rendering Index of at least 90. Temp is personal preference. I like 5000K.
