Pool table - New < 2800 and Used < 1800 - Suggestions ?

Hi,

I just sent back my American Heritage classic pool table due to lot of problems.

I am in market for a new pool table and wanted to get some suggestions on what I can / should buy.

My range is as follows

For new table < $2800
For Used table < $1800

Can anybody give me suggestions of possible brand/model in this range. I am a casual player ( 1 - 2 times a week )

There are a lot of nice tables for that price.

I personally would NOT buy a new table as the market is flooded with used ones.

If I were to buy another table; I would take my $2500 budget and wait for a nice Diamond table in my area.

The Second option would be to scour Craigslist for a nice old Brunswick. You could probably get something for under 1k and the spend another $500-$700 to make it perfect.

Either way you can have an amazing playing table for your price range.
