What a great thread DrJ. I too learned pool from my dad, and Willie Mosconi, (they grew up together in Philadelphia). If my dad were still alive, he'd be 97. I lost him way too soon, (he was only 69 when he died), but a day doesn't go by that I don't think about him and the insight he and Willie taught me about "the only pool game that mattered", Straight Pool.
