Poorboy Billiards Anyone?

Just wondering if anyone has shot with or owned a cue by Mark of Poorboy Billiards in Houston. I saw the pictures of the one Tony had and was wondering if anyone had pictures or any review of Mark's work as I just spoke to him and am interested in having him make me a SP.

hey i just registered on here. i've been shooting with a poorboy for about 6-7 months now and it has improved my game tremendously. it shoots like a higher end cue, much like one of my buddy's Schon or the predator sneaky pete. i also like it alot better than my friend's AOE setup..for pics check out the thread i just created here

You can't go wrong. I personally play with one and that says alot. I'm not a super strong player but I'm very picky about the way my cues play. I've had 5 already. They play great and you can't beat the price.

i just placed 3rd in a 55 man tournament this past weekend...with my poorboy, with the help of the x-breaker :P

sup tony, i met you once before at slicks down here in houston, the nasa road one. i just met your buddy jesus last weekend at the ACUI tournament too.

i'm chris..skinny chinese guy lol

I remember. I lost like 15 dollars playing 5 a game with a white guy named.....hmmmm, drawing a blank. We played for quite a while. He got out more but I moved better so it was just if he didn't get out, than I won the game. If he did than he earned it. I've never been a break and run type player. Maybe because I can't play.....:D I've always relied on my moves. I do recall seeing you there but Mark wanted me to match up with the best player in the house. He pointed to that guy and so I played him.


He said you played pretty sproty too, but I didn't get a chance to see you play. I'll try you some when I'm back in Houston. Jesus is a super nice guy. I wanted to go with him to the ACUI tourny, but just for the action.....:D

All in all xidica......Mark's cues play good, I've had a ton of cues.......Buss, Scruggs, Motteys, etc...... I'm not saying Mark's cues play better than all of them, but from my standpoint, I've seen most all of them, and hit with a few more. Can't go wrong getting a cue from Mark. Tell that big teddy bear I said what's up when you call him....:D

Played with a powers before.......they play pretty good can't go wrong there either.. But I'll tell you what, if you order it and don't like it for whatever reason and it's under or aronud 19oz. and still has the full shaft I'll buy it from you. I've had like 5 of them already and loved every one of them.
