posting pics

I have tried to attach pics of some of my stuff recently, but every time I do, I get an email response that the file sizes are too large for the forum. Can someone explain how they can post really detailed pics without getting this message. Either putting the pictures directly into the thread, or having the link to them that works would be great to know.

I was told to crop the pictures, but don't know the process.

Scott, the larger pic files that automatically appear are embedded and linked to a host site (with img src html code). Attachments through the site do have to be pretty small (the cut-off size is probably around 100kb per file). There are probably a few FAQ or other threads that tell you about attachments so try a forum search. Hope this helps. Sean
