I was talking about for the raw blankPanhdlce said:For a completed cue they quoted me $1,350
I'm thinking those prices are for the blanks...Panhdlce said:Really nice, and priced really high, in my opinion
dave sutton said:they're like 240$ with rosewood and veneers. Add 40$ for ebony and they offer 2 sizes in veneers like .030 and .040 roughly. I saw a few at sbe. The raw blank looked perfect but I saw a few finished blanks they had and there was a huge glue line in the miter between the veneers really turned me off to them. It was more than one. They claim points turn perfect also. providing there is no movement
I 2nd that also, I have few other company (DONT WANT TO NAME) I have there blanks and after I turn them down, I am not really happy with. Here is some of the one I bought from Prather (Jeff) that is turn down to almost size, just needs turn few more be ready for putting it together for a cue. Enjoy these pictures.Eric Wynne said:I've dealt with Prather for years , never any problem with glue lines or anything else ... I 've seen many full spliced butts not near the quality and could name a few I purchased ... These butts from Prather are real good , Jeff does great work , and I think they are reasonably priced ... Make your own and see what you have ... Prather makes a really good playin' cue ....for real ... Just my 2 $ ...![]()
