Prather plain jane for sale

I recently acquired this cue, the only marking on it was "Paragon" on the buttsleeve. I found out that Paragon was (still is?) a line of cues produced by Dan Prather. I have no idea what this cue is worth, but it hits like a champ; I almost put my Schon down for it. Only selling it because I need some cash (Christmas was rough!)

Anyways, the cue has a 5/16x14 joint pin, cocobolo forearm, stained birdseye maple handle and buttsleeve (nice figure!) with a cocobolo ring separating them, and a cocobolo buttcap. The joint collar on the shaft is cocobolo. Everything rolls straight with no weird buzzes or rattles. Cue is in about 85% condition with a couple of small chips in the clearcoat near the joint and a couple on the buttcap. I honestly don't know how much this cue is worth, but is $215 shipped in the continental US asking too much? If anyone has any additional information on this cue, I would love to hear it as I don't really know too much about the Paragon line of cues from Prather.

If you need additional pictures, let me know and I can take a picture of whatever you want in whatever quality you want (full resolution pics are about 2 MB). Please PM me or reply to this thread.

Nice q /It come from a dealer at tom cue stiks .I can't tell u the real price .But it from the early 90's .It a good cue .
good luck on selling..

Still for sale. Now asking $200 shipped. Will also consider trades for a custom sneaky pete or a 5/16x14 OB-1 shaft.

I'm willing to accept constructive criticism, is the price a turn off or is there not really a market for Prather's now? I've shot with this one and two others and liked the way they hit. Just not really using it so figure I could use the extra money. Thanks :)

I'll listen to any reasonable offers. Have too many cues and this one needs to go; will also consider trades. Thanks.

to low of price

Hey. I just wanted to let u know instead of trying to steal ur cue, that a friend of mine collects prathers....when he saw the pic he said that he has the same cue, and its worth about $550-$575 depending on condition....id try to sell it on eaby, and start the reserve at like 350, b/c anyone that has ever hit a prather knows that they are ecsquisit...
