I have a chance to by an older Prather cue and wanted some input before checking it out.
From the sellers description, it sounds like a pre-94 wrapless wood joint Prather similar to the current 201a model. It sounds like it has a curly (BE?) maple butt and rosewood forend (no points). There are a couple of areas the finish (not the wood) has chipped in the butt but is otherwise in very good condition.
Can somebody tell me if these are good hitting cues? I'm looking for an inexpensive shooter and this on sounds like it could fill the bill.
Thanks,
RG
