Just wanted opinions on what was done to my predator se4. The stainless steel joint and uni-loc pin was removed. A 1" ivory joint and G-10 glass pin was installed. The stitching on the forearm was matched to a 314 shaft that Joe Gold put his collar and stitching on. This is a 30" shaft. The weight was rearranged so that the cue is now perfectly balanced and is not heavy in the front. The cue hits 100% better then it did when Pechauer made the cue. The little star inlays between the micarta points are still there but they are covered up. I plan to replace them with turqiouse in the future. Thanks for you opinions good or bad. Nice Mod:

I too like Predator shafts. Looks like some good joint work. I wood like to see a close up of where inlay was covered up. Do you mind disclosing who tuned up your cue. Looks good an i bet it plays good too. Enjoy:

joint work on se4

The joint work was done by Jerry Rauenzahn and did he did a great job. Covering up the inlays was a friends idea. Thought it looked better without them. Jerry did the silver stitching on the forearm to match the shaft from Joe Gold. Any ideas of what it would be worth.

I own this cue as well, unmodified, and like it very much. I've never hit with a glass pin cue before. You've personalized the cue nicely!

Wow

I know there are a few people on here not to fond of Rauenzahns work but just wanted to let you know that the finish and the joint and ring work is holding up very well. Thanks for the replies. Dave
