predator ^2's shafts better feel???

I have heard that part of the reason for the better feel in the shaft is partly phenolic insert at the joint. Do these shafts actually have a better feel?

What if I get a partial and have a cuemaker it to a custom cue, wouldn't we be back to roughly the same old feel without its new joint insert?

Of all the improvements listed on their website, the only thing that might make it a better shaft is the new ferrule material...if it is indeed a stronger, more stratch-resistent material. This *might* also offset the hollow feel of their shafts, but I doubt it.

Got my Z2 2 days ago. Fully intended to write about it comparing it to original Z. It says Z square, and the ferrule looks 1mm shorter. That's all I could notice, plays exactly the same which is good.

Ended up posting a thread about pocket reducers...

I am still waiting on my new Z2, (they are backordered on the 30") but I will let you know how it plays when it gets here.
