Predator 314-3 vs Vantage shaft

Can anybody tell me the difference in the two Predators shafts. Really looking for info on the tapers. I have shot with a Predator 5k2 with a 314-2 for a couple of years. I like the taper of the 314-2 but not the soft hit. The shaft will be going onto a Schon R-7 I just got. I like the hit with the stock Schon shaft with stock tip. I know i don't like the taper of Predator Z shafts. Thanks for any help Michael

I think the best explanation is on the Predator website.
If you don't like a soft hit how about using a harder tip.
I've never noticed that Predator SHAFTS have a soft
hit. Just the tip if you have a soft tip and so on.

I have been adamantly recommending the Medium Wizard
brown tips. They hit amazing. Try one if you get a chance.
I usually get a bag of 5.

The Taper of the 314^2 and the 314^3 should be the same. The difference is in the Front End of the Shaft, Ferrule and Tip.

The 314^3 is 12.75mm, and the Vantage Shaft is 12.9 with a PRO Taper, Front End Design the same as you will see with the 3 Series Shafts.
