Predator BK tip

I worked out with a Predator BK at Derby City today.

I was extremely surprised when I was informed that the tip is phenolic, because it was so much easier to chalk than other phenolics I have encountered.

It was also much easier to achieve control than with other phenolics I have encountered.

Is this a new advance in phenolic tips? a different type of phenolic tip?

I also have one and I also agree, not that I'm going to start using it as a playing cue or anything. I also got the Predator Air jump cue for free when I bought the BK2. Not sure, but seems like it has the same tip. In my old house we sometimes needed to use the jump cue as the short stick in one corner of the table. Wasn't like a regular tip, but also wasn't horrible at imparting a little action on the cue if needed.
