Is the butt in a Predator carom cue the same as the butt in a pool cue ?
I see a carom cue that I like and I can get it butt only.

Even for cues that have the same line names for both pool and carom, there are differences in taper, as well as weight and therefore balance between pool cue butts and carom cue butts.

That’s not what Predator says.
It looks like they use a titanium joint to make it a little lighter but sizes are the same.
It says the carom butts have a straight taper. Is that different from a pool butt?
