Predator Eurotour KAMUI Slovenian Open

i watched a little. young finn arseny is entertaining to watch, he's fast and has a tendency to smash the balls in warp speed

Yeah he is one of our young Finnish guns, practising a lot and playing a lot of tournaments across different disciplines. Despite winning U23 European title, needs some international seasoning in mens division, but definitely a promising future talent.

I saw his match against Mario He.
He should have won, played too fast.

i don't know arseny but for many naturally fast players, their success is because of rheir rhythm and pace, not despite it. take it away and it's not the same player. hence i'm not a fan of the "should slow down" recommendation in general. stroke speed is a different matter.. he seems to play like gary wilson in that regard, punishing the pocket

I agree but there were just a few shots that it he took just 2 more seconds, he would have won

QFs:

BENKO M 3 - 0 MACIOL D
HYBLER R 1 - 1 HE Mario
SPITZKY M 2 - 1 SNIEGOCKI M
KURAL S 2 - 2 FORTUNSKI M

SFs will be

BENKO M - HE Mario
SPITZKY M - FORTUNSKI M

i'm not a big fan of this format. matches with no or very few misses, and zero safety play. the breaking format is neither here nor there. but the tables are nice, and seem tougher than the dynamics.

8b is way too easy for pros.

Sloppy match that's 9-9 between Spitzky and Fortunski. The game is not looking too easy for them right now.

So is 9ball and 10ball and every game where the break has a big impact on the rack and the game.

make it Harder:
  • Only break from the sides (make 2 boxes)
  • Table should not be open after the break, unless nothing was pocketed or ball from both groups were pocketed.
  • Must declare the group of balls your taking and when the table is open, you can not shoot the opponent ball to pocket your ball
  • No intentional fouls allowed
  • 3 consecutive fouls - loss of game
  • Must hit the apex ball on the break, no second, third balls break
  • Use a triangle to rack, players must accept the referee's rack
  • No jump cue

totally agree. reverse break box, take what you make

Quite an upset there, Spitzky came back from 9-5 to win. Mario missed a tricky but very makeable final stripe in the 9-5 game.
