Predator Pure Chalk

What is the difference between predator pure chalk soft, medium, and hard? Is it true that soft chalk is better for spin?

Pure chalk is the Taom formula for chalk, From what i hear predator is leasing the formula. Blue soft is Pyro, Green Hard is V10, and Medium is a mixture of the both. I tried the Pyro and it was a little messier to me then expected. I switched to V10 and it's much cleaner. Adding spin on the ball I really can't vouch for.

so the V10 and pure hard adds spin?

oh ok I misread what you said lol
It's early and i fixed my statement i forgot the 't. Not much sleep last night.

It's good clean chalk is what i can say. Blue is cleaner then any house chalk and V10 is cleaner then that. The only performance gain i can see is the table doesn't get as dirty. They say it's extra grippy 🤷‍♂️. I've miscued with Taom.

The chalk is good for players like me that don't chalk after every shot. If i use it every shot it cakes up really bad for me.

Is it worth $20+ 🤷‍♂️

Preference. I got the sampler and prefer the Soft. Also like the hard more than the medium, so... *shrugs*
I would guess that the S/M/H act differently on different tips: The soft is great on all my Kamui soft tips, but the hard applied best on the break/jump tips. Correlation, maybe not causation...
All the high end chalk performs really well. Personally, it's worth the cost just for how clean it is and how long it lasts. Used to go thru Master or Predator 1080 like crazy. Been using the same block of Pure soft for like 6 months now and just had to peel the first layer of wrapper.

The green is what you want. It's V10. I've shot with Pyro in the past, it's good stuff, but it is a bit messier, you can find small flakes on the table and it kind of bunches up on a miscue. Either is good but for the same price I think V10 is cleaner.

At a human playing level you're not going to notice additional spin or anything like that.
