Predator 'thin' butt

Which cue lines do they call "thin"?
My Virtuoso is .5mm thicker than Throne and Blak (still can't believe I can feel the difference).
I can get measurements when I get home if you want.

I played with one of their sneakies for a day. It felt pretty thin. Emailed the guy who owned the cue after about the diameter, he measured it said it was 1.2 inches at the butt end. So it was thinner than normal but not all that thin really.

Thanks. It's a sneaky I'm looking at. Shop has a new butt on clearance for $300. I can handle 1.2 inches.

I have a new Cuetec that I thought I was really liking until I started shooting with mt 25 year old Falcon again. I couldn't pinpoint why I think I like the Falcon more as I go back and forth but last night I think I figured it out. The Falcon has a larger diameter butt. Is this just a Cuetec thing or are the newer cues going with skinnier butts? And if so what's the reason behind it?

I understand that the Becue pool cues, and shafts are made in Italy, but I am curious who makes them.

Are they made in a factory, like maybe Longoni? I understand that some brands have a a factory, like Joss for example, build them a line of cues, so I am not sure if Becue is just a small custom shop, or if they are built in a large production cue factory.

Are they very popular? Maybe in Europe, if not in the USA? I see that Dennis Hatch plays with a Becue, and I wonder how he likes it. I assume he likes it a lot, if he is playing good with it.

my predator blak is measured at 31.2mm.
and also 1st gen p3 fat butt is at 33.2mm

Make sure you get a good caliper and sanity check it. Bought a second one a few years back and it was consistently 4-5 thou off. Fine for stupid measurements like cues, but could be catastrophic when reloading (the original intent)...

Good to know. If I had gotten into reloading years back, I'd absolutely invest in something like a Mitutoyo. But I'm just going to grab a Husky branded caliper from Home Depot after the weekend (lifetime warranty so why not.) Curious to know what my P3 will measure.
 
The blak is a nice slimmer butt
The p3 is more thick

Just as odd to me as the cuetec truewood having a thinner slim butt than the Svb series having a thicker butt

Which for the cuetec the butt cap measures the same dia but when you measure at the handle where you grip is where the big difference is
