I was browsing through the predator website yesterday and I noticed they have a new shaft called the Predator Z shaft. I was wondering if anyone has tried one of these yet and if so what you thought of it. It also made me think about something else. Do snooker players have the same problem with deflection that we pool players have? Or does the ash cue design with a european taper and the lighter weight of the balls lessen the problem? I remember in one of Bob Burns videos that he recommended the european taper for a stifer shaft. Lastly, i noticed they only are selling predator Z shafts with a uni-loc joint right now, but can my local cue maker order predator Z blanks? Any info would help i am looking to make a decision in the next few days.
