Predator Z2 shaft

Can a pred Z2 shaft made to fit another brand cue be converted back to fit a uni-lock predator? Or would it be cheaper to buy a new Z or 314 shaft? I have the shaft that came with my pred but it's not a 314 or Z. The pawn shop I got it from has the Z shaft I want to try to convert an I can get it pretty cheap.

don't bother converting it theres always someone on here selling a used predator uni-loc shaft in fact I have some shoot me a PM if your interested

Is not a good idea to convert, high risk to lower the shaft's quality.
