1. Budget is the main focus hard to do wanting a 9ft table. I want fast bumpers and a challenge. I am a decent player and I do enjoy the game and it would be solely for me and buddies
So style is not of concern with a spouse? If no, do not buy a furniture style table and by all means do not buy a new one. If you think a new car depreciates fast, these depreciate faster. The better you get and the more into it you get, you are going to want a better table. I recommend a good used Brunswick Gold Crown, Brunswick Sport King or a used Diamond if there are any in your area.
Where are you located and what is your budget?

You should be able to get a real nice used Gold Crown for $5K installed, a little more for a used Diamond if you can find one.
