Price for the unknown 70's cue

I have finally decided on a price for the unknown cue. It's been narrowed down between a Peterson and a Mcdaniel through the help of other AZer's but we don't know for sure, could be someone else.
Price is $800.

Last week it was anything over $500, just goes to show haste makes waste.

No, I still do not know who made the cue.

No, I can not get the 2 main possibilities to look at the cue. Mcdaniel has not answered my email, and Mr. Peterson is dead.

I think and stated that, IMO, this is a MCDANIEL.

That doesn't mean it is.

The ONLY way I would buy it as a McDANIEL would be if Bill said he made it.
