Scott Lee is in Tampa.

Great instructor.

I second this sentiment.... Scott is excellent at evaluating and fixing a stroke. And a generally pleasant person to be around and a regular on this forum. Assuming he's in town (lives in Largo, about 1.5 hrs from Gainesville) I'm sure he'd make arrangements convenient for both of you.

My personal recommendation for the two of you (should it work out that way) would be to try to meet up at Capone's in Spring Hill, which is a top notch nationally respected pool room. That would be roughly the same drive for each of you...

G'luck

Ray Martin, in the Tampa area, is one of the best teachers in the world. Hall of Famer. He also wrote one of the "bibles" with 99 critical shots in pool. That would be my go to.

Ray moved to North Carolina a couple of years ago.

Call Donnie Lutz!!! Great guy, very easy going with lots to offer. His hangout in Gainesville is a nice pool hall with good tables. Reasonable rates and good instruction....what's not to like?

I will be in Tampa area Feb. the first, doing a show at the Villages North of Tampa Jan. 28 29 30 31.

Too bad I'm not in Florida. It would be an honour to take a lesson the Cool Cat.

Tommy Wirth is in Delray. Dont know where in florida that is, but Tom is a great
one pocket player and all around good player. Plus, he is an excellent teacher.
I learned one pocket from him and he teaching is simple, straight forward and easy to understand. His new book: OnePocket; A Game of Controlled Aggression, is a great teach on 1 pocket.
You can contact Tom here: trwirth369@gmail.com.
Good luck
