Pro players (z2 vs 314-2)

It seems like everybody these days is playing with some form of an LD shaft.

What is more popular with top players, the z2 or 314-2?

Are they typically playing with the shafts on cues made by predator or fitted shafts on custom cues?

The reason I ask is I've tried predator shafts on other cues and it hits very differently than on a predator.

Idk about the pros.I play with a Pred butt and shaft but very few other amatuers do.Mostly you see Pred shafts on a custom or a Viking etc.

I see alot of the Pred break cues and some peeps use them as a player.

Well most pros are going to use whichever cue company is going to pay them the most. Predator is a globally established name in the pool world so they might not need the biggest "name" to endorse their cue. On top of that the choice between a 314 or a Z is probably alot closer than most think. Corey Deuel used a Z and I believe a OB classic pro now so he likes the smaller diameter. On the other hand most pro's shafts are probably so used and sanded down that most 314's are probably near 12mm.
