My copy of "Pro Skill Drills" volume no 1 in DVD no book arrived today and here are my thoughts.
I was somewhat dissapointed with the lack of instruction and lack of teaching in this video.
While the drills them selfs are excellent throughout, your watching a player I belive his name is Dominic poting balls with a voice over while he's practicing.
You not shown where to hit the ball to obtain position, or is anything really explained enought to be called instruction.
It is as if it was done asap. You have to remember I don't have the book which can be purchased together so maybe that helps but I would have thought everything is on the DVD anyway.
This could have been soooooo much better if some more thought and preperation and production was included.
Like how to place the cue ball on an napken at the other side of the table, a bit of instruction would have been nice so you know how to do it, rather then hit the cue ball on the napkin.
To be honest it was a bit of a joke.
I emailed "Max Eberal" and suggested he should do a video purely on ball control drills as he really knows how to instruct and teach.
I'll start doing these drills and work them out I guess.
You have to remember a drill dvd volume 1 is meant for bigginners some authors have no idea what that means.
Out of 10 I'd give a 3.
Cheers
