This may be nothing to some of you, but I rarely play the game so I have to brag a little. I've only played "billiards" about 5 times now, maybe 6, and I got my high run of 3 in a row today! It would have been 4 according to the guy I played today, but I missed my first ball by a hair...But he tells me that if I'd have hit the ball where I was aiming to, it would have been my 4th in a row. I'm told by one of the locals that plays the game regularly, that if I played the game more I could be good at it cause I "see" the shots very well...I just have to learn the proper ways to execute them. I myself am not sure if its true, but he swears I could be good at the game, so who am I to not believe the guy? I played the guy today that plays the game the best in our area and got my 3 billiard run on him...He was kinda impressed that I played how I do/did. We're supposed to play more later on, and I'm thinking he might actually help me by showing me some things I don't know. I'm impressed that the game is actually fun cause it looks boring at first. I'm sure I got alot of work to do playing the game to become good at it, but I'm having fun learning how to play the game. I haven't enjoyed playing any kind of pool game in a long time, but I'm finally getting to enjoy myself again. I just hope it remains this way. I actually like playing the game again!!
