Prulhiere Cue

Got my Prulhiere Cue (Walnut Burl) a few weeks ago.

I really like the looks of the cue and so did everyone else I showed it to.

Everyone had the same concern though, about the longevity of the cork wrap.

I love the cork wrap, I've never held one before and I think it feels great.

The first night I played with it I spent a lot more time playing with a Tiger Ultra X, rather than the stock shaft.

You definitely notice the difference in joint diameter, but it wasn't much of a distraction to me, but that's not to say you would feel the same way.

I've had a decent amount of table time with the cue now and I have to say I much prefer the stock shaft on it.

I have quickly come to love this cue, it just has a great hit and feel and I have great cue ball control with it.

Honestly due to the price I wasn't really expecting much. I purchased the cue more out of curiosity for the cork wrap than anything.

I expected I'd play with it a few times then retire it to storage and go back to my Espiritu.

I have 5 cues ranging in price from $170 (Prulhiere) to $1,000 and this cue stands up to everyone.

And I can't stress enough how much I love the feel of the cork wrap.

To make a long story short, for the unforeseen future this is my new player cue! Sorry Russ.

P.S. - Brian you've got a great future as a cue maker for real.

Pruhiere Cue Review

Thanks for the review.

I purchased some prulhiere layered tips on the slightly harder than normal side. I have been very happy with their performance. They really gave me exactly what I ordered.

Cork has a nice "cling to your grip" feature that really helps to hold the cue. Some irish linen wraps seem a little too slick - even without the clear coat.

I would be interested in your opinion on their super light weight lower deflection shafts - if you purchased one.

I must say - their low cost basic cue sale on AZ forum seemed quite the nicely priced deal.
