My Dad and I play on an 8' Legacy table. Recently we removed the carpet under the table and put down hardwood floors, without moving the table. Well now it has some funny rolls and while I'm leveling it, I was thinking about trying to liven the table up a bit.
Dad covered it with Simonis 860 about 2 years ago, and It hasn't had much use. He did a pretty nice job on the playing surface of the table. However he didnt pull the cloth tight enough around the cushions. And to add to that, the rubber feels pretty dead to me.
My question, can I just glue a K55 Brunswick cushion to this table? Id love it to play more like a poolplayers table, than a homeowners table. We are both pretty established players, and id love to make this table play better.
Any input or other suggestions?
