Purchased a crappy $50 cue from Amazon.

So I bought a shitty $50 cue on Amazon with threads that were 5/16x18. Just wanted to experiment with my shafts. I have two black dot shafts, a regular meucci shaft from the 80’s and also a OB Phoenix shaft. So it got here and I threw on the black dot and OB shaft and dang the cue actually shot really well. The $50 cheap cue from Amazon was going to be my at home beater stick for the table. Just when people come over I’ll hand them this cue to use. It’s only going to get the regular meucci shaft. I actually enjoyed shooting with it.

Its basically just a shaft holder. Butt means little in playability. Some may argue this bit i don't care. The J&J sneaky for 80bux is one of the best playing cues for the $ you can get. Lot of good cheap cues out there.

Did that $50 amazon cue have the initials KCC on it?

I was looking for a cheap Simpsons cue to put a decent shaft on , but they're all more expensive than 50 bucks sad face

I do the same with with Lucky cues from McDermott, they have a nice hit feel and are all 3/8 x 10 so for anyone with those shafts they are a great travel/loaner cue. Usually the cheaper cue butt construction is just fine to play with, but the shafts is where they fall short.

Yeah I was looking for some cues for around the house. And if it’s someone I know that won’t destroy a shaft I’ll let them shoot with a good shaft on it. I’m probably going to buy another so my other black dot can go on it. I shoot with the OB Phoenix on my meucci.
