Purple Heart and other wood break cue shafts

Very stiff. Great hit.

I'm having one made for my playing cue. Hopefully it'll come in within the next week or two =D

Ebony Shaft

I have an Ebony break cue with a cocobolo handle that is fitted with an ebony shaft with a phenolic tip. Let's just say it's heavy ~26 oz. 9 Ball break with it is pretty good, doesn't take a lot of effort to put a hurt on the rack and therefore the break is pretty controlled. 8-Ball took a while to keep the cueball on the table and have actually found that my 314 probably works better for 8-ball. It's a pretty sweet look though having an ebony shaft with a black phenolic tip/ferrule on an ebony butt.

Ebony Shafted PFD Pictures

Here it is, Ebony cue with cocobolo handle. double silver rings at top and bottom of wrap area, cocobolo and silver rings above buttcap. Maxx radial pin, phenolic joint, phenolic insert in shaft, phenolic tip. Breaks a ton, too heavy of a player for me even with a maple shaft.
